Adding A Fence?

Your fence is an investment in your property. For instance, if a fence is built not on the property line - but actually strays onto a neighbouring property (and does so without any other legal justification) then the neighbour may both sue for damages in trespass, and/or seek a court order removing the fence.

Protect your investment. Before you build obtain a survey. Let one of our licensed surveyors determine your property boundaries.  Is your existing fence a ‘survey monument’ that has been used to mark or reference the exact location of property lines? Because of their significance, survey monuments are protected by both federal and provincial law.

Cost & Timing:

MacMay, MacKay & Peters and it successors, have hundreds of surveys on file. For lots that we completed previous survey work on, and are less than 8 years old, we can help you save on your survey costs. Our one time search fee of $25 plus GST applies for a search of our records to see if we have your lot survey. This fee is more than offset by the savings, if we do.

Complete the Request Form and we’ll contact you to arrange the search and provide a survey quote.  We request payment prior to work commencement.
