Title Search shows the registered owner(s) of the property, legal descriptions of the property limits (boundaries), easements, right-of-ways, liens or mortgages, and any other documents registered on title.

We can title search the automated registry for any real estate in Ontario provided the property is registered in the electronic database. Most Ontario properties are available for electronic searching. To complete the search, we require at least two of the following:

PIN number (Property Identification Number)
Municipal address and the City
Owner’s Name
Legal Description

If the property is available in the electronic database, the following costs apply:

Title search fee within Halton region - $35.00
Title search fee outside of Halton region - $45.00
Additional page - $3.00

Copy of Title Documents/deeds - $10.00

All prices are subject to GST

For the properties not available for electronic searching, we can provide a manual search completed physically in the local Land Registry Office within the local regions of Halton, Hamilton, Peel and Niagara. The cost of manual searching is between $100 and $200 + GST.
